The channel started as 24-hour Bengali entertainment channel with soap operas like ''Kurukhetro'', ''Shanai'', ''Prabahini'', ''Dotta'', and ''Choritroheen'' but could not survive and changed its format to a 24-hour current affair and news channel in early 2012. GRP/TRP The channel fetches a grp of 20+ to 40 and its popular show ''Kurukhetro'' in its last stage (2009) fetched trp of 0.3-0.6 which was bad as the show use to fetch 1.0-1.6+.
